I, Thomas Marriott Dodington, am the eldest in a small branch of the family, descended from Henry Phelps Marriott Dodington, through Spencer, and then Sven. Outside of my immediate family, I know of no other living Dodingtons (with one D) in the USA. Our family includes my mother in NJ, my brother and his wife and two sons in NY, my sister in Colorado, and my children in TX and Massachusetts. My wife and I live in Texas.
My father's brother's family lives in Cornwall.
A cousin of my father's, through Mabel Marriott Dodington, lives in Cayman Islands. His children and their families live in Falmouth, England
There is a group of Dodingtons in Canada: they have a company which develops pipe organs for churches, and they can be reached at www.dodington.com. I think that their family tree branches from the geneology on this web site in the 16th century.
There may be a distant Dodington relation, an artist, in western Canada.
There is a small group of Dodingtons in South Africa
I have heard that there are some Dodingtons living near Bath, England, but I have not contacted them.
